Rimpage Skill Missions
CONTRIBUTOR TERMS & CONDITIONS
Purpose of This Document
The purpose of these Terms & Conditions is to provide clarity and confidence to fans, participants, and contributors who choose to financially support a Rimpage Skill Mission.
Rimpage Skill Missions are a new competitive format. Because they are fan-funded, it is important that contributors clearly understand:

-
What their contribution supports
-
How funds are used
-
What happens under different mission outcomes
-
What contributors can and cannot expect in return
Transparency is essential to trust, and trust is essential to Mission Control.
Nature of Contributions
All contributions made toward a Rimpage Skill Mission are voluntary fan contributions intended to support the execution of a competitive basketball mission.

Contributions:
-
Are not investments
-
Are not charitable donations
-
Do not constitute the purchase of goods or services
-
Do not confer equity, ownership, voting rights, or operational control in Rimpage or any mission
By contributing, you acknowledge that you are supporting a competitive sporting mission, not entering into a financial or contractual partnership.
How Rimpage Uses Mission Funds
Fan contributions may be allocated across one or more of the following mission-related budgets, as displayed on the mission webpage:

-
Athlete travel (deployment and extraction)
-
Lodging and base-of-operations accommodations
-
Local transportation and access fees
-
Media production and documentation
-
Operational support and logistics
-
The mission performance bounty, payable only upon successful completion of the mission
Budget trackers shown on the mission page reflect Rimpage’s current funding goals and progress toward readiness.
Rimpage reserves the right to reallocate funds between mission-related budget categories as operational needs require, provided funds remain within the scope of the mission.
Performance Bounty & Mission Outcomes
Each Skill Mission includes a defined performance objective and completion window.

-
The performance bounty is awarded only if the athlete successfully completes the mission objective within the specified timeframe.
-
If the mission is attempted but not successfully completed, the bounty is not paid.
-
In such cases, bounty-designated funds may be retained by Rimpage and applied toward future missions, mission development, or operational costs.
Mission success and completion are determined solely by Rimpage based on the publicly stated mission criteria.
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the status of the mission:

Before Deployment
If a mission is canceled before deployment begins, contributors may request a refund within the refund window announced by Rimpage.

After Deployment
Once the mission has officially deployed and execution has begun:
-
All contributions are non-refundable
-
This applies regardless of mission outcome, athlete performance, or early termination due to competitive results
Deployment status is defined and announced by Rimpage.
Mission Control Recognition
All contributors become members of Mission Control.
Depending on contribution level and mission structure, contributors may receive:
-
Public acknowledgment
-
Commemorative items (such as Battle Cards)
-
Inclusion in post-mission recognition or award ceremonies
Recognition formats, thresholds, and presentation methods are determined by Rimpage and may evolve over time.
Recognition is honorary and does not create any entitlement beyond what is explicitly stated.
Communications & Updates
Contributors may receive:

-
Pre-mission updates during the funding and mobilization phase
-
Mission briefings during execution (including progress reports and status updates)
-
Post-mission summaries and acknowledgments
Frequency and format of communications are determined by Rimpage and may change based on operational conditions.
Risk Acknowledgment
By contributing, you acknowledge that:

-
Skill Missions involve real competition and uncertainty
-
Athletic performance cannot be guaranteed
-
External factors may impact mission execution
You accept these risks as part of supporting a live competitive mission.
Governing Authority
Rimpage World Basketball Axis is the final authority on:

-
Mission rules and outcomes
-
Budget allocation
-
Deployment status
-
Recognition standards
These Terms & Conditions may be updated as the Skill Mission program evolves. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
Final Thought (not legal language, but intentional)
Skill Missions are not about spectatorship.
They are about participation.

When you contribute, you are not just watching history —
you are helping deploy it.
